I purchased this printer at the last minute. My client needed multiple 11x17 packages of a color presentation of a building design. I was able to purchase, set it up, and print multiple color pages within an hour. The client arrived and was overwhelmed. The printer made our design look that much better.

Good Work Horse

I love Epson printers for their clearly detailed prints. The extra large ink tanks are a big plus when using the larger papers. If this is your first wide format Epson, Go For It. The price is low and the results are fine. For landscape prints with better blues for the sky, I recommend the R1900.

I have been actively using the Photo 1400 for some months now. I have found it so superior to my privious printer that I now have an inkjet, not the Epson 1400 for sale. It did ok and the Epson 1400 is outstanding. A great difference! Major

this is the best printer I have ever worked with, excellent photos the use of ink is very good, most printers you can maybe get only about 20 photos and you are out of ink, I have printed over 35 prints ranging from 4 x6 to 11 x14 still have half cartiages use. Espon thanks for a very good product. keep up the good work.
thanks from a photographer, with a limited budget, I will be buying more from you, Epson thanks.

Very pleased

Have had this printer for almost a year and a half. Used it extensively in photo program at community college. The quality is excellent. Am glad I got a custom icc profile from Cathy's Profiles as that has enabled me to get very accurate colors. Would recommend getting custom icc profiles rather than rely on the ones Epson supplies. Have used a lot of "compatible" ink cartridges and they have mostly worked fine, but now seem to be unavailable.

R1400

I have had my R1400 for about a year, maybe longer, and am very pleased with it. I like the color quality and the fact that I can make prints up to 13x19. I have had NO problems with this printer. I have had 3 previous Epson 4-color printers and wore them out within a year of buying them. I make lots of prints. When this one wears out, and I have been pleasantly surprised that it hasn't done so yet considering the number of prints I have made, I will either buy another R1400 or the size/grade up. It does great on ALL my prints--from dust storm prints made in Canyonlands NP to Yellowstone to Alaska to the Pacific Coast. Epson all the way!!!!
