a bit disappointed in the quality of the prints. They seem a bit grainy. I do graphic work and need an affordable good printer that I can depend on...... wish the store would have had the next printer up.

Just the best and fastest printer I have used yet.
I shoot interiors and deliver prints to architects and interior designers. The colors are accurate to whats on the monitor and it prints much faster than my 1280.

Epson Printers get better and better

The first printer I bought almost twenty years ago was an Epson. I bought it because the reviews said it was the easiest for a novice to set up and use and a neighbor who was a freelance graphics designer swore by them.
I am not so much a novice anymore, but I still love the ease of setting up and using Epson printers. This one has not disappointed me. Within a few minutes I had it set up and was printing borderless prints for myself and family. My previous Epson printer had one large color cartridge and I always wondered if I was throwing ink away. I was sure not all colors were being used at the same rate. I think I am really going to enjoy having the individual ink catridges for each color.

FAILED WHILE STILL UNDER WARRANTY

IT WORKED FOR A WHILE, NOW, AFTER EPSON REPLACED IT 3 TIMES (WITH REFURBISHED ONES) THE 4th ONE STILL HAS PROBLEMS. I'M GOING TO SEND IT BACK TOO.
THIS ONE WONT EVEN DRAW IN THE PAPER.

Outstanding Product

I have been actively using the Photo 1400 for some months now. I have found it so superior to my privious printer that I now have an inkjet, not the Epson 1400 for sale. It did ok and the Epson 1400 is outstanding. A great difference!

I love Epson printers for their clearly detailed prints.
The extra large ink tanks are a big plus when using the larger papers. If this is your first wide format Epson, Go For It. The price is low and the results are fine.
For landscape prints with better blues for the sky, I recommend the R1900.

Great for color renderings

I purchased this printer at the last minute. My client needed multiple 11x17 packages of a color presentation of a building design. I was able to purchase, set it up, and print multiple color pages within an hour. The client arrived and was overwhelmed.
The printer made our design look that much better.
