Paper jam

A single paper jam with 20# paper caused a hardware problem that will cost more to repair than the replacement cost. Until that time it had operated flawlessly for 1.5 years and had produced excellent photo prints. Particularly liked the ability to print 12x36 panoramas. My recommendation: use it with photo papers - forget about using it for office grade letter size printing.

Great pictures. Fast. Don't know what else to say. Yet to be determined is cost of the ink and the durability of the printer.

Using epson premium glossy paper and setting gamma at 2.2 in the advanced setting and letting the printer manage the color in Qimage .It gives a better quality than any lab I have tried.Consistent output never a dull or dark print.Wish ink tanks were bigger and less expensive.

Epson Stylus 1400

This printer replaces an older model wide format the 1280, which I was very please with. This printer handles lots of aerial imagery producing high quality images quickly. I can send loads of files to the memory for printing at one time. This is my third wide format from Epson to replace an older model. I am a heavy print user and I find I get about 5 years of life out of my Epson printers.

So far, I love it! I actually installed it all by myself without a glitch, and I am technologically challenged. The instructions are very clear. The prints look great. Too early to tell how the ink holds out.

Great Machine

Easy to set up, get drivers and print in no time what so ever. Love this great machine. Able to print really large prints, photo shop came with it. If you like to print pictures of all sizes and shapes, color or black & white, I would highly recommend this machine.

Great printer, prior to this I used the Epson 900 and then a 1280--- Now for better I switched to the 1400-- I do Dye-Sub and the printer is great-- Epson is a reliable produt and great for what we do
