I just bought the 1400 printer. I printed a 13x19 photo of a bride I photographed. The print is amazing, clear, crisp and the color fidelity is wonderful. Great printer!

This printer was slow and the software does not work well with Windows 7. This printer is supposed to be a photo printer but the quality was not as good as I expected and the photo software did not work well either.

Epson 1400 paper feed issues

Printing menues on our 1400 is a task everyone fights not to do. the paper feed is so horrible on large formats that if you do not constantly baby sit it, we have had it take days to finish a task because it stopped on every or every other sheet. Have contacted support and retailer to no ends. Received advice on "fluffing" paper and leveling the unit. Nothing more.

Easy Set Up and Gorgeous Photos!

My old printer died and I was on a deadline. I remember my last experience installing a large format printer and it wasn't a happy one. I researched the web for the best large format printer and Epson got top ratings. I called local stores for availability and Staples had a Stylus 1400. It was even on sale! It was 2:30 in the afternoon when we set off to the store. Working together, my husband and I were able to install the printer in 15 minutes. I did have to download the Windows 7, 64 bit software from the Epson site. Also, it is huge, so we had to find a good spot for it, which required a 16 foot USB cord. Well, working quickly to get my photos printed for competition, we didn't even bother with a test page. My husband was so impressed that he told me I should reprint all my photos. Excellent print quality, even with a 16 foot cord. Feeding paper from the top makes so much sense. I made the 5 PM deadline with time to spare. Thank you Epson for an economical and quality product.

Nice Printer

This is an excellent printer for printing large size (11x17 or larger) prints. Main drawback is the overpriced ink. I would recommend the printer but not the OEM ink. Epson will probably delet this, but who cares?

I purchased this to use with my screen printing business. This printer does an excellent job of printing fine details and excellent for printing half tones. I love it.

I have had the Epson Stylus Photo 1400 printer for 9 months and have printer over 500 photos. The speed and quality are grate, I have never had a jam or smudged print. This printer has performed above my expectations it is a pleasure to use, I recommended it to one of my friends who bought and he is also happy. Thank you, Epson for a fine printer. DB Irmo, SC
