1400 Epson Laser Printer

This prrinter is not compatible with Mac's, which is a bummer cause as an artist I use a Mac as an artist. The replacement ink is way to costly to replace and the colour is off. Only printed about 25 works of art and needed new ink re fills. I am a media arts teacher and use and need a coloured printer for my work and my students.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Printing with low ink

Printer works great prints great projects. BUT if one catridge runs out you cannot print anything. I needed to print some 11 x 17 pages in just black ink. Would not let me due to the CYAN being out. Had to drive to print shop 12 miles away and pay for printings due to the time restriction I was working with.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I researched my printer purchase extensively and liked the reviews on this one. Photos quality and the ability to print 13 x 19 were what drew me to this model, and I liked that it came with Adobe Photoshop Elements. Was a little leary installing with Windows 7 based on a few reviews I read, and was a little ticked with the printed warning that came with Elements saying it would probably not work with Windows 7. Turns out there was nothing to be concerned about, installation was a breeze and Elements works with no issues whatsoever. The photo qualilty is excellent - people who see the framed photos are very impressed and comment they can't believe I printed them on a home printer. I am very happy with this purchase.

This printer wastes paper by printing one line, then ejects it then begins to print the request. It wastes paper. I don't get to see what the printer is going to print since it prints more than the requested pages.

Excellent Print Quality, But Repair????

This printer gives excellent output, but the main issue is that when it breaks down, I can't get local service companies to fix it. I have four broken ones in my garrage and love the printers so much that I don't want to get rid of them until I can get them fixed.
I love the CD printing capability.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great expectations - perfect service thus far

I'm responding with a review in order to be as timely as Epson was for us. However, I have not yet been able to use the printer. I have every confidence that it will be the excellent printer that I have been told it should be. I will say that service and shipping were both excellent! Very fast delivery and the box arrived in good condition. If I had to have a small complaint, it is only that the enticing rebate is a bit of a hassle to complete, but that's not out of the norm for rebate programs. Looking forward to great productivity with a quality product.

Great printer works well with in my operation and my style of photography. But the ink is why to exspensive. I would print more if it were more afordable.

All great...til....

Under 3 weeks old and it's already splotched up 3 photos.
Another thing, when the ink is low, doing a nozzle check seems impossible, as far as I can tell.
I do love the quality of the photos...but should I already be having problems?
