MY GOODNESS !! Sooo excited that I can finally do banners on paper without having to cut tape every page together !!!!

I've owned many Epson printers. Some of my favorites are long gone. This is a good printer. Maybe not as clear as my old 2200 or 1800, but good for the price. I liked it enough to buy a second one to replace my 1800 when it died. Inks are more but do seem to last longer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the 1400...but

The print quality, so far, is excellent. I was looking for a higher-speed printer to supplement my larger format Epson. My only gripe is that the door on the bin where the prints come out WILL NOT STAY SHUT. It's flimsy plastic and, right out of the box, fell open. It's VERY annoying and makes me worry about the durability of other parts. That being said, I'm happy with the prints although I need to experiment with various types of paper.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Epson Stylus Photo 1400

Superb colors. My underwater dive photos are beautiful, bright and vivid. I couldn't be happier! I have printed on photo paper and premium matte presentation paper and the results have been exceptional. The printer was easy to hook up and start using immediately.

epson stylus color 1400

The 1400 does an absolute beautiful job in all phases of printing, specially the clarity of the photos.I have not printed larger than 8X11 photos but if the results are as good as the 8X11 then I can safely say there is not another printer on the market that can compare to the 1400. The only negative for a Mac 10.6 plus version is that you have to download the printer drive from the Internet. The only negatives, the IMac 10.6 version has been around for several years and Epson should have updated their installation CD long before now and they should have included Elements 10 rather than 9, because most people who will invest in the 1400 already have more than the basic Photo Elements.

Will start off by saying had a little problem with the print cd program,but once i got the right drivers installed it fixed the problem. the large prints 13x19 blew me away the detail is unheard of, that it almost looks 3D. Great bang for the buck !!
