Stylus Photo 1400

Love printer for all size photos except 13"x19". All of the photo prints beautifully except the last 1 1/2 inches, which comes out darker. Is there anyway to correct this problem?

The Stylus Photo1400 is a good photo printer but it has its drawbacks such as: Epson paper and ink is expensive so plan on spending some dough on supplies; you have to manually feed paper for duplex prints; and inkjet, while very dramatic, it's not nearly as versatile as laser.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm satisfy with the quality of prints with low price.
However, inks are very expensive comparing other competitve printers and more high printers.

You'd better have enough stocks of Light Magenta and magenta cartrdiges because they run out like flash.

Excellent Printer

I use this printer mainly for printing labels on CD/DCDs. It does an excellent job with vibrant colors and perfect alignment of the label on the CD/DVD. Although this printer is rather large, because it is a large format printer, it is well worth the investment of space. I could not be happier with this printer.

Epson Stylus Photo 1400 Ink Jet Printer

I purchased this unit 6 months ago, I wanted to try it a while before writting a review.
Here is what I think the PROS are:
1) does a fantastic job on the pictures I print, it's just as good if not better than the 960 did.
2) It prints pictures in half the time my old Epson photo stylus 960 did.
3) It uses a lot less ink than my old 960 stylus did.
4) there is less time and effort spent on setting up and printing out lables for CDs
I only have one Con: It takes up a lot of real-estate

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to set-up and use my new printer. The DVD/CDs that I printed look absolutely fantastic. I do photography work and print pictures along with text in newsletters and they too are fantastic. Love this printer, should have gotten it a long time ago.

Great Photo printer. Came without the inks but they are sending me inks. It takes longer to print than my old espon stylus R280 but I can print larger documents with this printer. Great for printing 13x19 photos and 12x12 scrapbook pages.
