Fantastic microwave/convection oven!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this appliance in October, 2012 so I have had a few months to use all of it's features. It was purchased to replace an old GE microwave/convection oven. I wouldn't buy any other brand after using the old one a few times a day, every single day, for 25 years. I love this one even more than the old one. This one has many great features! It is also easier to keep clean and has a turntable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great features, bad execution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product did not compare well with GE signature unit I replaced this unit with.
Features are excellent, cooks great, however they replaced the exceptional easy to clean , even spotless after 20 years, white interior with some shiny stainless steel looking, tinny material which promises to be very hard to keep clean.
Too bad!!! Not a good way to cut costs.

Great product - easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this microwave/convection oven to replace another built in GE product. The kit was easy to install and works great. The microwave is easy to use and easy to maintain. We haven't used the convection oven feature that much -- doesn't fit our lifestyle. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a similar product.

3rd GE microwave I have owned. Don't like the 15 second intervals especially for working with a few items that heat quickly. Really like the "reheat" options and glad they kept the express button. I also cook frequently in the oven and have learned to use the convection combo feature. Works great on casseroles that need a brown top to be appealing (cheese, breadcrumbs, etc.) The oven is noisy. Disconcerting at first but you get used to it. We are pleased with the oven.

We purchased this unit to replace a wall unit that finally failed after 20 years of service. It fit into the cavity (with some mounting adjustment) and looks good and performs great.

Great construction and features

This is my third microwave in 22 years. The features in this unit are great and it is powerful and well made. The really great thing is the spacious stainless steel interior instead of a painted interior like the one it replaced.
