Why change the size?

We have the Ge Profile PEM31DMWW microwave. It has been fine.
Why do you change the sizes? We have expensive built-in cabinets. We had to buy the trim kit to fit this microwave. Now, to replace the microwave, the dimensions are different, and it will require cutting into our cabinets by a professional. Why is it so hard to make the same size?
The other issues we have are the inside of the door seems to be rusting in the corner, and I have had to replace the plastic turnstile piece because the wheels stop rotating causing the glass table in the microwave to periodically pop.
This is very frustrating. I spend far more on fixing my cabinets than I do on replacing this microwave. Clearly, the people who design these don't have expensive cabinets in their home.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good appliance for price and functionality

I bought this about two months ago and so far everything has been working great. I got the mounting kit and mounted under the cabinet. It cleans well and buttons are easy to figure out.

This product had one serious fault.
