I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY ABOUT MY AIRFLOSS PRO. THE FIRST UNIT THAT I PURCHASED DIDN'T PUMP VERY STRONG SO I GOT A REPLACEMENT. NOW I'M WAITING FOR ANOTHER UNIT BECAUSE THE PUMP STOPPED WORKING. I'M REALLY DISAPPOINTED SO FAR. I LOVE IT WHILE IT WORKED, BUT I AM HAVING BAD LUCK WITH PRODUCT LONGEVITY.

Effective but gentle cleaning

I've been using a Sonicare Airfloss for well over a year. Don't know what I'd do without it.
I'm taking a "blood thinner". I find that if I poke around my teeth with tooth picks or proxy brushes my gums will start bleeding and be a problem for days. The Sonicare delivers an effective blast that removes debris, but never bothers my gums.
Pros: effective, convenient and portable
Cons: can really sting your tongue.

This product takes some getting used to. It is rather strong in its water shooting,maybe make it less forceful for a while for gums to get used to it. Also lots of water everywhere even with lips closed, maybe a different design. Won't know if it works till get teeth cleaned so will keep using it.

Poor manufacturing standards for nozzles

Had one nozzle out of a package of two left. Worked just fine. Purchased two more packages of two nozzle,. all four blew out of the handle making the device unusable. The one usable nozzle is all I have left for a while. The shank on the nozzles are undersized and fit too loosely. Lousy manufacturing standards.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If the nozzle does break, replacement nozzles may be found in select retail and online at http://philipsparts.fox-international.com
It is recommended that you replace the nozzle every 6 months to minimize potential hard water or bacteria build-up.

I've used it for over a year. I've been through two regular dental cleanings and the hygienist and dentist have been amazed. Cleaning by the hygienist takes less than 10 minutes versus 20-30 minutes previously and my gums no longer bleed from the hygienist pics. My dentist of over 20 years remarked that my gums have never looked better !
Water dribbles are not an issue if you keep your mouth shut while using it. You can slide the floss tip along the gum line of each tooth and, with a little practice you don't even need to see where you are cleaning...you can navigate by feel.

Wow! Get one today, especially if you find using dental floss painful, difficult or just don't like using it. That was me. I am so glad my hygienist told me about this product. I will let you know the results after my next cleaning. So easy to use.

I have Airfloss for several years now and the product is great, easy to clean, easy to use, the battery lasts a long time, the design is great. In summary, the product is awesome. I bought in 2011 and it is as good as new.
