[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we first received this blender my wife was making two meal smoothies each workday and I was having at least one smoothie meal a day. We have backed off from the daily use but the blender is still fast and efficient. Now, about 3-4 days a week I make a meal smoothie with Carnation instant breakfast, a cup of low fat vanilla yogurt, a frozen banana (pealed before freezing), a cup of low fat chocolate milk, a cup of crushed ice, and often a teaspoon of instant coffee.

The ice crushing feature is one of the best I've seen in a blender, I'm crazy about margaritas and basically every blender I bought would die after a few uses, with the Kitchenaid blender I feel like it will never let me down.
