[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had owned a sturdy but generic Hamilton Beach blender for about 8 years. It died when I began making leafy green smoothies. I was determined to find a new blender that would be up to the challenge presented by my new green diet interest. I read many reviews and watched nearly as many comparison videos online. However, by the I was ready to make my selection KitchenAid was an easy selection. The product provided the rare combination of power, reliability, features and price to make it one of the few purchases I endorse to my family and friends. One last thing, it looks great too!

I puree the fresh vegetables with very hot water and add my seasonings to it. I garnish it with tortilla strips. It definitly is a crowd pleaser. It's so easy to make and the cleanup time is minimum. It's a great way to use whatever fresh vegetabsle that you have in the refrigerator.
