Best phone I've ever had!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this phone for free from a friend who wanted to "upgrade". I thought of "upgrading" many times but can't put this phone down until something, anything goes wrong with it! This is a great, long lasting phone!!!
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality, easy to use

At an impass with this phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this LG e980i since it was unlocked supposedly by AT&T so that I could upgrade my phone with my wireless carrier, Tracfone. I was able to activate the phone and get it to be both wireless and data capable. However, I could not get it to accept mms or pictures. I found I could if I did some other adjustments that seemed out of my paygrade. I asked my carrier and they said that they did all that they could and it was probably the phone. I asked the manufacturer and I was told it was up to my carrier. So in other words I need to switch my carrier to AT&T or try the more complicated procedure to get this phone to accept mms and pictures. As for the features, it does offer a lot especially if I switch carriers. The battery suck, literally. If I use it during the day as normal it drains the battery to nearly nothing before the end of the day. I ordered another battery and battery charger to carry should I decide to keep this phone. This feature makes all the other features near useless if I use it them too often. If this phone had only accepted mms and photos I imagine I would be writing a very different review right now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My favorite phone!

Had this phone for 4 years and loved it the whole time. There were no more software updates so i was forced to buy another. Unfortunately the v20 is terrible and I am now researching other brands because it has only been a year and it has been a pretty bad phone. Wish they'd bring back the Optimus and all that makes it so awesome, I'm not sure I trust LG quality anymore though:(

Why am I having sooooo many problems ?????

I brought my phone in 2014 and in the last 3 weeks it has completely been a terror. The battery gets hot, my apps wont' work, other functions will not work, I tried to update the software and it says it is up to date but the last update was October 2015???? I must say that I don't use a lot of space on my phone. I don't take a lot of pictures, apps on my desktop etc. Is it because it is now a discontinued model?????? I will not be purchasing another LG phone.
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I looked at All the new devices that came out near the same time as this one.
This phone is amazing.
Best screen ever.
The LG UI is perfect.
NO LAG at all. This phone is SO fast.
Very comfortable in the hand.
Great set of one handed features available.
Best smartphone on the market IMO.
Please release the WHITE version in USA!!!
I would buy this phone again, and plan to do so because now my wife is leaving WP for the LG OGP.

Ive been a lifelong Samsung Galaxy user all the way to the S5. The LG Optimus Pro G is everything you ever wanted in a smart phone. Long batttery life, qaud core processors, huge screen, packed with tons of features. I will never return to a Samsung mobile device again.

Lg Optimus G pro is a home run

I have looked at many phones this year , and read the reviews on the new phones .I bought the Pro because the diplay was the best i have ever seen. viewing angles great, colors look real and not washed out , very slick display . The pro is fast very fast no lag and no problem flipping screens. The camera is excellent the pictures sharp and clear , I love how it takes pictures outside the colors are more true to life,indoor pictures i have no complaints .1080p video is excellent .

I bought the LG Optimus G Pro about a week ago and I am absolutely blown away by it! The size and style of the phone are perfect for me. The resolution quality is by far the best I've ever seen! If you enjoy taking pictures you will LOVE this phone. The camera is high quality and the images come out beautiful! There are also several photo editing features that help inexperienced photographers like myself create professional looking pictures.
I would highly recommend this phone!
