I bought this model a couple of weeks ago and am pleased with the device's features.
The 3D bluray hdmi connection is perfect.
It is connected to a set of speakers fisher stv-712b and Sony center and surround. The sound is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this receiver in 9/13 and I have to send it back for an exchange already as of 4/14. The receiver has some quality features when it comes to sound quality but doesn't live up to standard ease of setup and changing between devices.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

HK remote

I can't connect the AVR161 to the app HK remote (iphone 6 plus). Despite Bluetooth is on and devices are paired, when trying to connect I am always bounched back with a message to go to Bluetooth settings and select the speakers. How comes???

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with the AVR 1610S. Please try re-installing the app or use it from a different phone to isolate the issue. I noticed that you are in Italy. If you are still having issues, please contact the store where you purchased the unit and they will be able to help.

Difficult to operate

The unit works well for surround listening relatively easy to set up. I find it quite difficult to navigate with the remote and hard to find functions. Ive had the unit a few months and still cannot operate the unit to full function. maybe its me but I doubt it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
