I am running Windows 7 64bit.
Purchased the scanner this week. Ignored the software / driver installation disks supplied with the scanner which are for earlier OS.
Downloaded the latest software and drivers from the HP site.
Scanner and support software working well with no problems.
Fully satisfied with the product.

Solid, reliable scanner

I have had one of these for a long time. Provided you keep up to date with the drivers and software, it is a very dependable scanner. I have scanned 35 mm slides with it, and negatives. the results have been good. I wouldn't go out and buy a different scanner until this one ceases to work.
I would recommend this to a friend!
