Suddenly , stop heating

This microwave was included in my new second home and we use only a few weeks per year for warming coffe and reheating food and didn't have issues until 3 years later when it stopped heating. apparently other people have the same issue with this.

I just purchased four new? GE appliances.I have an issue with all of them.The microwave is of most concern since it does not work. Waiting for my third service call.I feel this should be replaced.

If you want replace the same part every couple of month!

I have changed the cove on top 2 times and now I have to do the third. But my microwave doesn't have warranty anymore. So I have to pay for it. How long time I need to exchange the same part?

It Came With The House

Unit came with the house - (Brand New). Rest of the oven works Ok. But the top panel keeps braking off. Replaced it twice. Happy that GE does Not make this unit anymore.

Don't waste your money

Mine lasted 3.5 and it's life is over. I thought microwaves had a longer life span. Why repair sounds like if I do I will have another issue in 5 months. Out with GE in with a product that will last

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this model because of its sleekness and had features a bit more than basic. Thought that the price and well-known GE brand would ensure reliability. I was wrong.
It worked fine for 2-1/2 years and then one day it stopped heating. Couldn't believe it as it is used only by me. I heat coffee daily and have an occasional microwave meal and popcorn.
The "nuts and bolts" of what a microwave does,....heat.. broke. An expensive repair because even with the GE name and "not cheap" price warranty was for 1 year. That should have been a clue.
PIne for the good ol' days when the bulky run-of-the-mill microwaves lasted 20 years! Come on GE you're a trusted brand....live up to it.
By the way BOTH GE appliances I purchased recently malfunctioned and required expensive repairs and a lot of hassle. Both about 2-1/2 years old and sooner.

Just installed - Power Failure after 1 month

I just installed this microwave and it started experiencing power failures yesterday, not even 1 month after installation. Today, it died.
