Not a long lasting microwave

We've had this microwave for a few years and it's cheaply made. The door window came out of place and slides around on the inside and the handle broke, probably because it's plastic. It has good features and cooks well, but it wasn't made great to last years and years. My in-law has a microwave the has lasted since the 80's and this one doesn't even last 3-4 years. Don't waste your money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This machine only lasted 2 years. I have had a microwave since college that still works. What a Piece of junk!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased thus microwave 2 years ago was very disappointment in the longevity of this microwave. I purchased this microwave for my home 2 years ago it no longer works. I have been very pleased with GE appliances in the past but not this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this oven. I have never had one over the stove and am a little concerned about heat from the stove. I wish the vent went on automaticly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first one I GE microwave I bought had a busted mounting bracket and in about 2 days GE sent out a contractor and installed a new one for me. The microwave works great, even heat, and it looks great in my kitchen. Will definitely look into buying more GE appliances!

makes alot of noise when running

The door always shuts when you are putting stuff in it and it make so much noise when running you can't hear the TV.
