I had a 51 inch plasma but the the screen failed and didn't work anymore I tried to get it fixed but they told me it wasn't worth the price to fix it .i might as well get a new one so I did but I went a lil bigger and got me a 55 inch led tv to try the difference I'm pretty satisfied but know I want a 4k uhd
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

One get a good to very good tv if one wants just a tv to connect to a cable box/dvr and maybe a dvd player (only allows two HDMI inputs). Using the antenna input as a backup is also good. But it certainly is not for anyone hoping to use apps to connect to internet for additional content (no apps).
Just basically just a tv.
Haven't really tested 3D stuff.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive
I would recommend this to a friend!

I can final see small details I couldn't on previous TV's! Sound could be improve for people sitting off to the sides of set! But overall I love it!
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: sound to side needs improvement

The color and clarity of our HD TV is amazing. It's so good you can see the makeup on the actors! This is the best television we have owned and the quality for the price is outstanding.

Very user friendly. Almost plug and play after installing the TV on it's stand. Picture is beautiful and true in color. Independently ordered 3D glasses since they are not included with the TV. Setup for 3D is seamless and really a no brainer. TV tells me when the glasses are synced with it.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: only 2 hdmi connections, no 3d glasses included

I love my new 3D TV. Great picture and many options to choose from. Still need to play with it to enjoy it in full force.
