Nice but not quite good or great.

I bought this iron but it continues to leak water out the back and when I use the extra steam button. Wish there was more information on the website.

Poor quality: Iron Leaks

I'm definitely not happy with this purchase. I decided to purchase a shark iron after my other one went out on me after 13 years...13yrs. This iron is only 8 or 9 months old and started leaking water through the cord where it attaches and at the corner of the water container. I love the vacuums, but I will never own another shark iron. This is the poorest quality iron I have owned to date.

After the one year warranty was over the cord lost connection to the iron - short in the cord and would not heat up.

Over five years and still going strong!

I've had this iron for over five years and it's still the best. I admit, I'm hit or miss at using distilled water but it generates steam like no other. The plates are easy to clean and I don't think I'll ever do those other "non-stick" plates again. The auto-shutoff still comes in handy as my son is always leaving this on. I'm looking around to buy a new iron for him since he's moving out. This is the best at the price range, so I'm most likely to gift him the same.

Dangerous to use!

This was my second Shark iron. First one stopped working after a couple of years of frequent use. Purchased another one that only lasted a much shorter time. Problem was that it got extremely hot very quickly to the point that it was smoking. Turned it off right away but had I been distracted for a moment and didn't unplug it right away don't know if it would have started a fire. Won't be buying another Shark iron. Gave very low rating because an iron should be designed to be safe and to be used for years.

This is my second Shark iron. The first one was great and lasted a few years. Right before I had had it a year it started leaking. I’m very disappointed. A year is not very long for a appliance. New irons do not get hot enough for cotton or other heavier materials. When I sent an email it came back.

Visited my Daughter in Tampa a few weeks ago & used her Shark that I bought her about 4 years ago, & it works as great now as it did then, so I had to get one for myself. I've tried all brands & this is unquestionably the best. no spitting, dripping, but I'm curious why they're no longer sold in brick & mortar stores, although the Shark Vacuum is sold in stores.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This iron is easy to use and been great. Purchase since 2017 and still works great. I like that it have steam in and it help reduce wrinkles to clothes. Highly recommend this brand . Shark Rapido Pro Lightweight Iron
