Use these products to charge cell phones while up camping. Used Nomad 7 on trip, just set on dash and charged using sun while traveling.

Charged the Switch 8 to a full charge and the unit only gave my Samsung G3 about a 30% charge. Not a happy camper right now.

Low mAh, cannot swap out battery

Needs a removable battery and compatibility with Li-ion 18650 batteries. This power pack is ok, but at 2200 mAh it does not have the capacity of other options. The latest Li-ion battery of equivalent size has 3600 mAh, a significantly larger capacity. Throw in an output of 5.0V/≦2.1A and the option to replace the battery and you'll have a great charger. Until then, I will not be recommending this to friends because there are too many other products with better capacity for a lower price.

No More Dead Battery!

I love my Switch 8. I keep it in my purse or my backpack everywhere I go and it has saved my phone from dying on so many occasions - I get one full recharge on my iPhone 5, 0-100% in no time. Can't wait until the new tips come out!
