Great compact power!

For a short backpack or camping trip, this is the perfect way to recharge any electronic device via USB port. Just bring it along charged. I used it to recharge my phone overnight, and to partially recharge my Kindle. If the weather doesn't allow you to gather rays or the trip is short and you don't want to cart along your Nomad 7, it's the way to go!

I really enjoy the Goal Zero Switch 8 Recharger because I work in the hills and mountains most of the time and it's real convenient for me to charge my cell phone when I am not close to my vehicle, especially if it's an emergency situation. Love the product!!

Amazing battery backup!

I have used Switch 8 multiple times to charge my iphone 5. It will take it from 10% to 100% in about the same time as plugging into the wall. Great for airports and trips. Even used it on the go to charge phone while in my pocket.

I love it! I use it everyday as a way to have power on the go for my i phone and to give my tablet a boost. I take it everday on my daily jog. Also it just makes sense down here in Florida during Hurricane season. Soildly built and a quality product. Going to buy one for my niece in NY.

While on wildfire assignments I use the switch 8 to charge my cell phone and power the LED light bar in my tent. Useful when not in tent as well.

A must have

This is a must have if you travel a lot, packs enough juice to give your phone a good few charges. Compact in size and pretty light, you won't even notice it is there. However it does have the capacity to charge a ipad or other tablet. But it is nice to know that I have extra power when needed.

This is a great portable charger. It charges quickly, and holds a charge well. I use it for regular travel, as well as camping and as a backup around the house. Very good product - very well made. I highly recommend it!
