Real life exampl on Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Good little charger, though its capacity is a bit limited. On a Samsung Nexus Galaxy, which has a 6.5Wh battery, it only managed to take charge level from 8% to 75% before shutting down, I would have expected a full charge... Still, very handy in case you are at the end of your day with a low battery and still need to get a few hours out of your phone!

Works great for charging while shopping - on those occasions when I forget to charge my phone. Nice & portable. Would be nice if it lasted a little bit longer, but great for short term charging. Depending on the angle of the plug in the USB does not stay secure so it may disconnect ever so slightly & not actually be charging while plugged in. Be sure to see if the lights are on.

Better than I thought

I keep this charged and in my backpack/laptop bag so I always have an extra charge. I like that the main body is aluminum. Can't wait for more tips to come out. It came in very handy hiking in Moab (with my Nomad 7 panel) and when traveling. No more sitting under the water fountain charging my phone at the airport!

Perfect for vacation

On our trip to Florida we used the Switch to recharge our phones and camera on the go while we went to the beach and the theme parks. Our phones never died, we could always take pictures. It was so convenient and helpful.

The device is small and light. When it discharges to 80-75 percent it becomes incapable of charging an iPhone 5, however it charges my 4s iPhone just fine even at half charge. I plan on taking it and the nomad 7watt solar panel on my trip to Maine this summer. Hiking the 100 mile wilderness, I'll let ya know how it does
