Great sounds

This surround sound system is great for an apartment. it make it seems as though you are at the movies. listening to music with this system is even better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The sound quality is very good and it looks nice it also was easy to setup that's the good.

Now here is the bad
If your looking for something with more apps or to be able to add apps look elsewhere this system lacks apps. Yes it does have the LG store but the apps are pretty much useless unless you want games. LG should have the same apps available for the home theater systems that they have for there TV's makes no sense why they would be different.
if you read about the LG app store it makes it sound like you can down load all the apps you want nope.
Still deciding if I will keep it or send it back.

System Lags

This is the worst economical theater system I've ever owned. The sound isn't too bad, but not as good as some cheaper systems I've had before. I like the smart features, but the system can't keep up with its own features. It takes forever to move between functions because it lags. Sometimes I'll press a button and have to wait 10 seconds for the system to do anything. Sometimes it will decide to just not work or respond at all, and I have to unplug it and plug it back in. Probably won't be buying anything LG anymore.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This less-expensive model turned my HD tv into a smart tv...the sound in my small livingroom is great, and the features allow me to access a variety of entertainment platforms that were previously not available to me. Adding Plex was easy, and my library is now extensive. Love it!

Easy to set up. Great quality. The price and quality are comparable with more expensive systems. Not sure about all the settings yet, but a great entertainment.

inconvenient slow remote control

3D blue ray player is fairly basic, sound quality is excellent. remote control is ways bad because of slow response and i have to point to the device with certain distance to make it work, in addition the software response of the player is too slow when i change pages or operations, unexpectedly freeze and stop, so i have to power reset it to make it respond. slow on internet and when connecting to other wireless compatible devices. My LG 3D TV which is older version TV connects even better.
