Although this model isn't being made anymore I felt I had to warn anyone away from buying a GE product. We only had this microwave 2 years and we started having problems. Now several of the buttons don't work and the exterior light won't turn off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought it less than 3 yrs ago and the key pad module is messed up . I hardly use this product since I have another desktop microwave,

8 years of working fine and today the keypad bites the dust ( short in keypad message)
