I like this lock!

Just installed this lock. The directions were easy to follow and the job was quick because every thing fit like it was supposed to. I was pleasantly surprised by the rekeying feature for rekeying our back up house key - it worked the first time just follow the directions. Keypad entry is the way to go only wish I had done this at the last house.

Having to never carry keys

I bought this lock two years ago when we bought our new house. We had the same product on our old house but in a different finish. First of all, I love not having to carry keys. Second, you never have to worry if the door is locked because it does it on its own. I really enjoy this feature as I have a toddler who I now trying to get outside all the time and he I a little too short to reach the deadbolt. I also love kwiksets rekeying feature. I will never buy another kind of lock. The only bad thing I can think of is that if the door isn't perfectly straight or if he deadbolt hole is slightly off, there might be some locking issues. We currently have a large wooden door with glass and the change in season causes it to shrink and swell. This is not any fault with the lock itself only the door. But the shifting issue causes the lock not to work at times. Overall I would and do recommend this lock and any other kwiksets deadbolt lock to others.

No more fumbling for keys

We have had 2 of these locks for over 2 years now. Our front door we have it set to auto lock after 30 secs, side door we lock manually as we go in and out of this door with groceries etc. Never have had a problem with either. Had to change the batteries on the side door since we use it more. Don't have to worry about getting keys for others that need to get in for a reason. Took a bit for us to get them installed, but once we figured it out, the second one was a lot easier. Would like to be able to tell who (which code) entered at times.

I bought this for my aging father. It is easy for neighbors and friends to stop by and he doesn't need to get up to let them in.

Holding up nicely

Installation was a breeze. Everything works will over one year later. The finish has held up nice to the nasty rain and sun conditions. I'm planning on putting one on my front door too.

Good value for the money & works as advertised

I bought one of these in August of 2014. Installation was easy and it worked perfectly right out of the box My wife liked it so much we bought additional locks for each of our daughters for Christmas presents. One daughter installed it herself Christmas evening. We all are using the locks on the entrance doors between our houses and our garage. No more getting accidentally locked outside. Only issue what has developed (only with one lock) is it occasionally sticks when using a key. I plan to put some graphite in the lock to see if it resolves the sticking problem..
