My wife hates too. Realistic tv.. so this was perfect for her. GGreattv at the vakue.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display

Excellent product with only two down sides

I replaced a competitors brand with this set and very happy with my choice. Better picture quality for sure. The smart tv functions work very well and the set itself is visually stunning. However, I do have two issues that I would have liked improvements on.
1) The built-in speakers are poor quality, even for a small room. External speakers are a must with this set.
2) The home screen is annoying. Why should I have to choose the main tv screen every time I power up? It would have been more appealing if the main tv screen was chosen when powered up as opposed to having to select it.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT, NO JUST BECAUSE THE VIDEO QUALITY, BUT ALSO THE APPS MAKE IT EASY TO SEE MORE IN WHAT THIS PRODUCT HAS TO OFFER AND GET FASTER TO THE NEWS ETC.

I have this smart tv since 2013 about 2yrs and is great, TV have great picture quality smart hub is great with all the streaming media I love Netflix, amazon prime, vudu,and all the games you want, but for me is time to upgrade I I will buy the UN55JS9000 tv can't wait to get it.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: a bit expensive

This is clearly the best TV I have owned...I love the picture clarity and sound. All features work great. I recommend the newer Samsung TV's to all.

very poor quality

Bought this tv a little over a year ago, within 2weeks had to take it back to the store, no picture, only sound, they gave me a new one, that lasted about 8 months before it started with the screen going blank then restarting again and could not adjust sound up or down. Samsung sent a repairman and they replaced circuit boards, worked fine till about a month after the warranty ran out, same problems happening all over again, first Samsung tv I ever had, very disappointed.
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
