Don't Buy - Nosiy Doesn't Cool Well

I've got three of these units. Which I purchased at the same time for my apartment. They were cheap but not worth the effort to install them. One of the units cycles off almost immediately after the compressor kicks in, so it doesn't cool at all. The one in the bedroom makes so much noise that half the time my wife prefers to sleep without turning it on. At the time I purchased these units Consumer Reports still had a favorable rating of LG. After I purchased these units CR came out with their reviews and LG had dropped to the bottom of the list. I for one know why.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good unit at a good price. I life saver in the heat. Could be quieter. Love the remote.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Cons: could be quieter
I would recommend this to a friend!
