Leaking and Poor Filter Replacement Availability

In the 6 months of having this filter, I have had a couple leaks come from the faucet . The system causes water to come out from the faucet and leak all over my counter, as well as leak into the cabinet under my sink where the filter is stored and causes water damage to my shelves. In addition, the filter replacement almost cost the same as a brand new unit and on top of that you have to purchase each filter individually when they should all come in a set of 3. I bought replacements and I got 2 of the same filters when I need 3 different filters with 3 different colour tabs. This only makes the process of replacing the filters more difficult and time consuming.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Mauricio, thank you for leaving a review, and we're sorry to hear you've had some trouble with your reverse osmosis system. The ECOP30 uses this set of identical pre/post filters, along with the ECOROM membrane cartridge sold separately. The filters and membrane are not sold as a 3-pack because while we recommend replacing the pre and post filters every 6 months, the RO membrane can last 2-3 years. Meanwhile, water leaking from the faucet air gap is most likely due to an issue preventing the system from draining properly. We just bought them two months ago, and we already have to change the filters

As a rule of thumb, we suggest replacing your pre and post filters every 6 months, but filter life can vary depending on local water conditions and the amount of filtered water you use. If you notice your filters becoming clogged sooner than expected, this is likely the result of hard water minerals, iron, or sediment in your water supply, which may require additional treatment prior to your reverse osmosis system.
