Really gets clothes clean

I had an old top loader of a well-known brand other than GE that was about two decades old. The chassis was rusted to the point that it needed to be replaced, but it was still working well. To my surprise, this front loader gets the clothes cleaner, and the steam option really works for getting out difficult stains. It has saved some items that I would have otherwise thrown out. With two little ones, it seems like we're constantly doing laundry and bedding. The water bill is about 10% less on average compared to what it was with the ancient beast. Overall, I am very pleased with this machine.

We love this washer! It is intuatively programmed, has just enough customization availble to be thorough but practical and cleans clothes very well! While we have only been using it for a relatively short period of time, so far we are VERY impressed!

Great machine for tight quarters

We have a limited sized laundry closet so we could not buy the larger machines. The machine does it all except for our quilts and large throws. Very surprised to find the STEAM feature is more than a gimmick. It really makes a difference getting things clean.

I want my old washer back

I had a front loader that I loved, but after 10 years of use, it gave up. I never had any problems with stale odor with my old machine, this machine smelled the first time I used it. The wash cycles are extremely long, and the detergent dispenser is always half full of water after the load is done. The volume of the alert is so low it can't be heard outside the laundry room. This is a large capacity machine, but if you fill it as recommended, everything is wrinkled. I should have done more research before I purchased this machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the second one I've bought. I initially had the series with the plastic start and power buttons from 2012.
I have to say I like that series better. This washer vibrates more during the spin cycle (even though it has the anti vibration balance ). The detergent dispenser constantly has water in it and it drives me crazy. If it wasn't for the size of the tub, I wouldn't buy this brand again. For the cost I'm dispointed that it's do loud.
