One dud battery

I'm looking for my 4th battery in one year. The first one did not hold a charge from the day I got it. I was not smart enough to know something was wrong. The backup that I got when I purchased the camera is now doing the same thing, and this camera is only used a dozen times a year. I thought Lithium batteries retained the charge and had a longer overall life.
Also the price is a little steep.
I'm going to try a replacement brand at half the price and see what kind of performance I get.

What's great about it: perfect fit for the a330 camera
What's not so great: short life
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

POOR Battery Life

I have had my camera for 6 months and I love it, but since I've owned it I have hated the battery life, every time I go to use it the battery is dead. they tell you not to keep it on charge, but to me ,I'm ready to. At least then I would know if it has life. They need to make some changes in the battery BIG TIME.
What's great about it: I love my camera
What's not so great: I hate the battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very good battery

I've owned an Alpha A330 for 1 month now and have taken my kids pictures for sports (tennis/soccer) and a parade (band). I bought a "long-life" battery that is "similar in every way" to the FH-50 (made by Premium Tech). Darn battery quit after 30 minutes of intermittent Live View and it would not come out of the battery compartment! I was able to carefully wiggle it out until the spring took over and pushed it out. I was able to insert the original Sony NP-FH50 without any problems. I've requested a replacement from the vendor, but specified I only want an original Sony battery, not the Premium Tech. The "other" battery did not even warn me that the power was going. Do not settle for inferiority. I won't anymore.
What's great about it: good battery life, on-screen info of how much battery left (A330)
What's not so great: none so far
I would recommend this to a friend!

NP-FH50 Battery
