Love this vent! In addition to looking great, it works well. The light was two settings and the fan has three settings. Perfect for the GE Cafe gas stove top.

Great product

Ya know how you walk into someone’s hone and you can smell what was cooking yesterday!! Well this vent has so much draw that will not happen in my hone. Works well, great lighting as well no complaints with this product.

Light bulbs suck and fan doesn't work

The only thing good about this product is the aesthetics. Otherwise, it is useless. The light bulbs are extremely difficult to exchange, and once you pop one out, it Is impossible to put a new light bulb back in without breaking all of your fingernails. The wiring that goes to the light bulbs is very loose as well. Just by tapping on the front of the hood, the light bulbs will go out. Lastly, when cooking, the fan only removes odors when it is on high. When on the high setting, it is extremely loud. Very disappointed in this product.

The motor started squeaking and shuts down, this fan could have lasted much longer in my opinion. Service call opened.

Amazing Find! Pleasantly Surprised!

We love the ease of using the hood! There are three different level of fan speed and two different light brightness. We use it as a nightlight at night for kids or adults looking for food or drink. Even on low the light illuminates our large open concept home. We have the builder vent the air to the outside and it makes a huge different when cooking meals for our large family! I would definitely buy this again!

Vent hood was easy to install and works very well, lighting and ventilation. The stainless steel appearance pops as the wall Jes a black tile. Easy to clean and very quiet, even on high.

This is a replacement for the exact same one that was less than 4 yrs old. That one was deemed unrepairable. Funny how my husband noticed it was a loose wire after it was taken down. After getting 3 different quote from customerservice, each higher than the last one. I finally had to purchase a new one at the highest price because they wouldn't honor the 1st quote.
Sure hope this one lasts longer than 4 yrs. Will never buy another GE appliance again

Unimpressive

The finish is hard to keep clean, much harder than expected. Power is adequate but I have to limit how many eyelets I have turned on my stove before the hood is overwhelmed and cannot keep up. But my biggest complaint by far is the blower...
My home was built in 2022 with all new appliances, including this one. By the end of 2023 the blower died. Would have thought this to be a fluke, except that I'm hearing story after story of the blower failing after a year or two. Of all the places I've lived for 10 years or more I've never had to replace a blower on a range hood. And the icing on the cake: the costs of replacing a blower is as much as buying a new range hood from another manufacturer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
