The pyramid

We bought a new construction house and all the appliances are GE. I haven’t spent a lot of time in the kitchen but the few times I did I liked the functionality. It’s not very loud when on, quite effective. The two stage lighting is very convenient.

A very average product for a high price. Fan isn't very strong. The grease filters are always falling out which scratched my stainless steel stove top. Issue seems caused by the design of the brackets that hold the filters in. This product was installed by my builder who claimed it was a top end product. Not accurate.

This products had defective discontinued parts

2nd hood installed with defective lights. 1st hood right bulb blew the mother board and part discontinued so had to replace entire hood., 2nd hood installed and left light blew out within 6months. Why sell hoods with discontinued parts????
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lights shorted out

Both lights burnt out on same day. I replaced the bulbs and when I turned the power back on one of the bulbs popped and now the other side is not working. There is a burnt wire. I would expect for the cost that this would have lasted longer. We have had the unit 2 years.
