Bought this dishwasher as a part of our kitchen remodel project. I had the luxury of looking and analyzing numerous models and manufactures over a 2 month period. Initially, my preference was not GE, but my detailed and objective analysis lead to this product as the best value, most features I wanted and it cleaned very well. I have to admit I surprised with how great it performs. Its super quiet. I mean, hardly hear it running quiet. It cleans very, very well. Better than my older model whirlpool. Overall I am very happy with this.

Nice unit but the door latch broke within a year

It is a nice looking and quiet unit, washes well comparably to three other new dishwashers I used in last five years (due to moves for the job). Now in less than one year, the door latch is starting to malfunction. It does not register the door as closed.

Not high enough for bigger plate

I got this appliance through my builder so I didn't have much choice. I love the dishwasher as far as cleaning and drying well however the bottom is not efficient. You can't put high plate even the regular dinner set I have. You can only place 3-4 of them on the left side. The top rotating wheel hits them during washing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful, extremely functional, and QUIET!

We were in the market, replacing a 14 year old dishwasher. We knew we wanted a stainless steel model (both on the interior and exterior). We had a ballpark idea of what the price would be and went to the showroom floor to see all the model options. This one seemed to stand out above the rest in its appearance and options, especially on the interior. The spraying arms are sturdy and abundant. I love the bottle cleaning arms as well. My husband installed the washer and when we ran our first load, I was unaware that it was running. It is extremely quiet. We are very satisfied.
