Sometimes dishes come clean

Dishes in the top rack do not always come clean. Inspection is a must so not to put away dirty dishes....mainly coffee cups.

Less than 2 years - Already needs repair

This dishwasher was installed by the homebuilder. It didn't do the best job of cleaning or drying the dishes. Now I need to get it repaired for not draining. Not satisfied at all with the GE appliances we received in our kitchen package.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

WE JUST PURCHASED THIS DISHWASHER ABOUT 2 WKS AGO. SO FAR I LIKE IT. IT CLEANS WELL. DO HAVE TO USE JET DRY FOR THE INSIDE OF DISHWASHER TO DRY OTHER WISE IT STAYS WET. LOVE THE LOWERING OF TOP SHELF.. THE ONLY DOWN FALL SO FAR IS THE CONTROLS AT THE TOP. OUR DISHWASHER IS LOCATED WHERE I PREPARE OUR SUPPERS SO I AM KEEPING THE CONTROLS COVERS WITH PLASTIC WRAP TO KEEP THEM CLEAN AND NOT GET WET. WE WILL SEE IN THE FUTURE IF I END UP HATING THIS FEATURE.. PROBLEM WAS IT WAS THE ONLY MODEL THAT HAD ALL OF THE OTHER FEATURES I WANTED SO I SACRIFICED THE LOCATION OF CONTROLS. THE ONLY OTHER DESIGN FLAW I SEE IS THE UTENSILS BASKETS WITH THE COVERS TO KEEP THEM SEPARATE WHILE WASHING.. YOU END UP HAVING TO TOUCH THE UTENSILS AND IN TURN PUTTING YOUR GERMS BACK ON THEM SO I DON'T USE THE COVERS.

Very Quiet!

I bought this dishwasher about a month ago, and, so far, I am extremely happy with it. It is SO quiet that you have to check the light to see if it's still running! My old dishwasher was so noisy that I had to turn the volume up on the TV just to be able to hear anything. My dishes come out sparkling clean and dry. (Another complaint that I had about my old dishwasher.) I can also load a lot of dishes into this machine. So far, I am very pleased with my purchase.

Very Quiet

I moved into a new home where the appliances were chosen for me. I was hoping that the appliances didn't turn out to be builders grade. The dishwasher was a pleasant surprise. The machine runs very quiet, which is great given that my kitchen opens up to the family room. I don't care for the controls on top of the door, as the machine is running all you can see is a yellow light indicating in use, then a green once it's done. On top of the panel there is a timer that tells you how much time is left. Rather useless when the door is closed. The auto sense seems to work very well. It would have been nice if there was a rinse only cycle. When my diswasher was installed a hose was pinched which created a leak that damaged my laminate floor. The repairman told me this line of appliances gets top priority for customer support. The repair was done in a timely fashion and the insurance division sent me a check to pay a contractor to repair the floor. Thank you GE, job well done!

It does an OK job - not the best, but it's quiet!

This washer is nice enough - it's got a cool stainless steel basin and cleans well and good. However, the issue we have is that it is pretty terrible at getting the dishes dry without any help from a rinse aid. I know that's what its for, but this washer in particular doesn't seem to dry much at all unless you have rinse aid handy.
One huge plus is that it's super quiet. The thing barely makes any noise and gets the job done relatively quick. The display lets you see how much longer it'll take to finish and the chime when it's done is quite pleasant.
