Great quality, looks, and features

I purchased this with the matching dryer. The build quality of both is exceptional and I believe that is because they are made in the USA. The working height is perfect without buying an overpriced optional base. The inside of the washer is stainless steel. This washer control is very user friendly and gives you all the wash options you will ever need. GE hit a home run with this washer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect Height, literally

My husband is quite tall and I am quite short; it was vital to me that we get a front loader because top loaders are all so deep these days (I can't touch the base of them!). This was a wonderful compromise because we didn't want to shell out for additional pedestals and my husband thought the lack of a pedestal was a little too short for him. He also loves the color. There is a fantastic range of functions and the allergen cycle is especially useful for me as we have lots of pets and I'm allergic to them (they're worth it, right?). I would recommend this washer, and its matching dryer, to anyone. (We have had this washer for just over one month at time of writing review.)

Cleans Great, Very Quiet, Normal Load takes longer

I purchased and had the set installed on 7/17/2015. Both look amazing and the installation went well. They are very large, but I knew that prior to the purchase while making my decision. I have washed 10 loads of laundry and the washer does a great job. There was some people complaining about leaking on the slide tray they have either fixed it, or the others were putting too much detergent into the tray. My washer has not leaked and I have washed 10 loads. The washer is very quiet and is easy to operate. The only reason a took away one star was because the normal load time is 1:18 1 hour 18 minutes and all others seem to be no more than 52 minutes. The clothes however come out very dry and leave the dryer in a place to not work as hard. Being that the dryer time is significantly reduced the total wash time is probably the same. as other brands if you compare it by total wash and dry time.. If I compared just the dryer the longer wash time in normal mode would be the only thing I see improvement on. The washer does a great job cleaning the clothes compared to my
last front loader sets. The only other recommendation I would make to GE is to strengthen the plastic outer window it is very thin and flimsy. I hope this set last me a long time and I am proud to purchase a set that are american made.
