Great Scanner

I have used this wonderful scanner for 8 X 10 negatives as well as fabric samples that my wife uses for her instructions. Very versatile and easy to use. It could not be better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

great scanner for the price

I bought this scanner to replace an Epson 1600 scanner I had for over 10 years. Does everything I need: negatives, slides, and documents quickly and accurately with great professional settings.

Epson V700

After receiving a replacement for a DOA V700, I have scanned b&w prints, color prints and Ektachrome transparencies with very good results using VueScan. When I further refine my scanning workflow, I expect even better results.

Excellent Results

This scanner consistently provides excellent results. The ease of operating this machine is simple, and it's not real bulky in taking up a lot of space. Epson continuously provides superb quality. Being in the photography business, I needed a scanner that provided excellent detail. The Epson Perfection V700 will not disappoint!!!

Truly Impressive Quality

I have owned this scanner for some time now, and I have to say I am still blown away by the level of detail the scanner can capture. I have seen it capture details that were invisible to the eye, or to other scanners (i checked on an older epson scanner that i kept as a backup). The 4.0 DMAX really does make a difference in the degree of detail one can capture from the shadows and highlights. I have also found that the color quality on an unadjusted raw scan is very close to true, requiring very little in the way of correction. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone, especially for professional use.

I bought this for a SCANNER only....and it is wonderful.
Easy to install (I am a Senior Citizen) & I get good results. I have yet to try it as a printer.

I used this scanner when I was still in graduate school and liked it so well I purchased my own. Now that I'm teaching I purchased this for my students to use. I find the ease of use of the software, the nice negative holders, and the lower price tag all great reasons to buy this product. I recommend it to anyone interested in scanning both film and documents at a reasonable price. Epson also has great refurbished products at reasonable prices as well.
