Panoramic Output on film

Hate it. I have spent hours trying to get a scan that will not crop off 10% of the bottom and top of a 35mm negative. This makes each output look panoramic. It may do the same for 35mm slides but I will not be doing slides. I can scan a 120mm negative using the pro manual settings for size but find no way to adjust 35mm format.

missing firewire

I purchased this unit partially based on the description that it worked both with firewire and USB. The unit I received does not have a firewire port. The box, documentation and Epson's website say that it has firewire. Very poor job Epson!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got this and because I am using Mac Lion, I can not load the Silverfast dvd and I tried to upload the software and that wont' do because you need the current disc to load to upgrade because it comes in a bundle. Now, I can't even use the scanner. :-( unhappy right now, but maybe they will email me back.
