Push button came of within weeks

Push button ejected out and could not fix it back.

This hood has great lights! They are bright without being glaring. The fan speeds are great and operate quietly. My old hood was very noisy this is so quiet I want to turn it on and use it!

Blower plastic part melted after heavy use

my range hood came with the new house that I have bought about one and half years ago. One day after heavy cooking on the stove for about an hour. And suddenly the blower became very loud. It turned out that blower's plastic fan blades have melted away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst push button design

The push buttons you see on front are bad quality. We have chosen this for its high motor power but what is the use if the high speed button ejected every time we push other push buttons?
Looks like they are just glued and every time I push one button, previous selected button ejects out. Could not fix it.

It really sucks!! and needs some parts TLC

I have owned this for 5+ years and still enjoy the volume of air it moves at the sound levels it produces and ease of cleaning the flat filters. I dont love the lack of a dimmer on the lights and really dont like the required cleaning of the blower cage. Now the motor has started squealing and suspect a failing bearing in the motor. Needs some upgrades in the filtering to prevent yearly required de-greasing of the blower. maybe a disposable fiberous filter similar to the snap on charcoal?

A sore head for tall people

Bought in 2019 in a new home. No repairs during my ownership. Issues: I am 6 foot tall. Hit my head multiple times on the unit. Hard angles and pointed ends. Suggesting the following changes. Change drop from cabinet from 9 inch to 5 inches max. The extension from cabinet is 8 inches change to 4 inch max. Changes corners to rounded. Never use halogen lights. These lights are too hot and can feel the heat beating down on arms. Specifications are suggested for all under cabinet hoods. The hood needs to be out of the way of cooking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We received this hood with our new houseIt is great and has huge capacity with settings from low to high and works great for us.
