It is simple enough to operate and accomplish different uses, for all fabrics, for all materials that need to be washed, good from curtains to lace.Perfect washing is accomplished from the shortest cycle to the longest presoak cycle, all are great. In some appliances only particular programas are effective, this one has all effective practical uses.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used or known people who have purchased front loaders and had nothing but trouble with them. With my Whirlpool I have had no such issues. They had units which were constantly out of balance, banging against walls and walking across the floor. In one case, this actually cracked the nylon detergen/bleach/softner feed tube, filling up the bottom pedestal drawer. What a mess if they didn't have the pedestal -- but it ruined everything inside! No such problem with my Whirlpool. Does a fantastic job of cleaning my laundry. Thank you.

The Duet washer is a dependable, efficient machine

My laundry consists of horse clohing - blankets, sheets, saddle pads, towels. I put muddy, hairy laundry in the Duet, and get great results - the items come out fesh & clean without any dirt residue. A problem with horse hair clogging the drain of a competitor's washer caused us to return that washer. We then decided on the Duet, which handles the horse hair extremely well. We've been using our new Duet for 5 months now and are totally satisfied with its performance. It gets the wash very clean with just a small amount of detergent. With its 4.3 cubic feet capacity, we can wash large loads easily. Simply put, our Duet has proven itself to be a great value.

Best front loader ever and I have had three over the past 40 years. Great features, load capacity, spins out good. I love it on the pedestal. Quiet operation.

Clean as a whistle

We replaced our old top loading washer with this front loader. It is awesome! Super easy to use, gets whites and colors super bright, and dark colors are clean and crisp. I love the multitude of settings from sanitize to normal. There's even a clean washer setting and reminder feature to automatically let you know when it's time to clean your washer. I've heard people with other brands complain that their washer smells musty and like mildew. Thanks to the featured on this machine, that isn't an issue with the Whirlpool model. Plus, it's made right here in the U.S.A.We absolutely love this machine and it was priced right too!Give it a whirl (no pun intended)!

I really like the features on this washer and have been satisfied with all aspects. It is much quieter than the older Whirlpool I owned and cleans much better. I love the front end load aspect and feel all features are easily used. I have concerns that the rubber seal will mildew as the previous one; therefore, I always wipe this clean and leave the door open after each wash cycle. This washer did break down within 6 months and it took 3 months for the problem to be discovered and repaired. Yes- I was upset to say the least!

About 5+/6 years and already replacing the washer. Bearing gone out shortly after warranty expired, imagine that!! Even after shopping for a new washer & dryer set at the local store, the sales associate steered me away from Whirlpool and to another brand. I was actually surprised!!
