Whirlpool Duet Steam Front Load

In 2000, I purchased the best front load washer that every existed. The Kenmore H3 front load washer. You could put 23 towels in it and they came out clean, and the washer was quiet while it worked. It died last year, so the next best recommendation was the Whirlpool Duet Steam front load washer. While it clean the clothes just as nicely, it certainly doesn't fit as much in each load, pants get twisted and shirts come out deeply wrinkled. The sort part is how loud the washer is. The water input echoes through my little ranch home, and no matter how much you put in the washer, it rattles every time it spins. I tried many old-school methods to quiet it's spin, but nothing works. I wish my old washer was alive! THIS WASHER IS NOT QUIET - EVER!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great machaine

I have the washing machine for over 6 months. It works great. My clothes seem much cleaner than they did with my old washer and I am using less detergent. I love the variety of cycles. It is nice to have the quick wash feature when I don't want to go through a long cycle. I do make sure that I run a cleaning cycle every month.

Quality product

Before retiring I was an appliance repair technician who worked on just about every brand out there. My experience taught me what was quality and what was not. In my opinion right now Whirlpool is the best quality for the dollar than any other brand out there.

We are hoping this washer will last 19 years like my old whirlpool did!!! We love the quick wash feature that lets us do a small load of lightly soiled clothing in a short time. I am partially deaf and really enjoy the nice loud signal letting me know the load is finished. I especially like knowing that my hard working hands that earned the money to buy these American made products are not only going to buy great dependable and reliable products but are buying products made with American hands, hearts and pride like my own!

Very large capacity

I have had this 6 weeks now and while I haven't used all the features yet, what I have has worked well. The washer seems to get the clothes good and clean. I like the sanitize and allergen cycles. Overall I am happy so far with the purchase. The machine looks great and the alert sounds are nice. The only con is that it is a bit noisy.

Cuts our wash time in half!

After owning a top load washer our whole married life we are now asking ourselves why we did not go to a front load sooner! It has literally cut the time it takes to do the laundry for our family of four in half! This washer is easy to use, does an excellent job and is soooo quiet! Plus on top of all of this we are using a small fraction of the water we used to!

From the moment I used this washer there have been absolutely no problems or issues, This was a great buy. From towels to napkins. From jeans to comforters. This washer has performed extremely well. I have no regrets.
