Love this washer. It has big capacity, you can wash a comforter on it. We bought it two months ago and so far so good.

The machines clean and dry very effeciently.

I have been very satisfied with the washer and dryer except for the feature that allows you to switch from powder detergent to liquid. The flap does not always stay in the upright position and the powder clogs up the doorway.

We bought a Duet washer and dryer set last spring. I had and older top loading high tech washer that we had to leave with a house that we sold in another state. I thought that washer was great but then I met this Whirlpool Duet...... Now I can say that I am in love with an inanimate object..... How could you not have affection for something that makes your life easier, makes you look and feel better, is dependable, looks good, saves you time and energy and keeps its promises?I thought I had the whole laundry thing down to an exact science but I found out that this machine and I truly did make a great "duet". I can put a load in at bedtime and the load is still fresh when I get up in the morning and place it in the Duet dryer. The Fan-fresh option makes this possible. Our clothing is brighter and whiter. I rarely have to treat stains. I love the abbreviated cycle for just one or two items that I must have to make a wardrobe work for that day.Thank you for creating this relationship!

Wash Cycles Take Sooooo Long

I'm trying to understand why something so energy efficient takes at least 3 times longer in a wash cycle to wash the same load of laundry that used to take a maximum of 14 minutes on my old, reliable Whirlpool.The trade off, I assume, is that it spins out the laundry so well, it takes half the time to dry in my old, reliable Whirlpool dryer.Overall, I'm pleased.

It took awhile to get use to the differences between a Top Load and a Front Load, but not long. No problems after 2 months and not expecting any.

This washer has a lot of features and my clothes come out clean and fresh, only thing I miss on this washer is the time to clean reminder like my other Whirlpool had .
