We had an older model Duet washer and dryer for several years. When the washer broke this year, we replaced it with a new Duet washer. I think Whirlpool listened to the consumers, because they have upgraded all of the bells and whistles, and made small improved changes to the older version. We love it, and wish we had bought the dryer to match!

Great features!

I bought this four months ago and absolutely love this washing machine. It washes great and has some great features such as an automatic fan that comes on when the wash cycle is complete. This comes in handy especially if you are not able to take the clothes out right away. This way the clothes dry a little so they still smell fresh when you do put them in the dryer. I have left clothes overnight in my old washing machine in the past and had to rewash them because they had a moldy smell.

Easy to use

We purchased the washer and dryer a couple of months ago and we are very happy with the performance. Other steam dryers require the operator to add water manually. This dryer has a direct water connection and the water is added automatically. There is no room for error.

Love my new washer. Clothes come out clean and with little water remaining which helps them dry faster. Attractive, easy to use and pedestal makes it easy to load and unload.

Whirlpool 4.3 cu ft Front Load Washer

Washing Machine is a dream compared to the old one. The old washer had a higher spin speed (1800 rpm) compared to the Whirlpool 1400 but it is so much more quiet, vibration free, and works just as well as the higher speed washer. It is important to keep washers comparable when not buying a set. The gas dryer seems happy with the moisture level of the cloths coming out of the washer and the speed of drying has not changed. I hope Whirlpool keeps its parts onhand longer than its predecessor.
