It’s quiet, dishes come out clean. Nice little 18 inch dishwasher.

Saved my hands

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We moved from a home with a standard dishwasher to a home without a dishwasher. If we installed a standard dishwasher, we would have had to remove 4 large drawer leaving us with less storage. This 18" dishwasher saved the day. We removed one small cabinet and Viola! My hands thank you. And this is the quietness dishwasher we have ever owned. That's a plus!

Love the Dishwasher BUT…

We’ve had this DW for several years. Upon installation by a plumber it’s was leaking and had to have service repair person fix it. I remember it was a horrible experience as the repair man had a short fuse and couldn’t get the drain part seated as it wasn’t put together correctly from manufacturer.
It has worked great so far—that part is 5 star ⭐️! However, the bottom door seal is a Bear to clean and it needs replaced and I will now tell you why I gave only 3 star and maybe lower if I can’t get the simple gasket replaced OR A PERSON TO ANSWER AT WHIRLPOOL!! I’ve tried several times and the automated telephone system drops the call. I the tried the call back option and still waiting. ALL full-size Dishwashers have lower Door replacement gaskets—BUT this model has NONE listed anywhere on the internet Or Manual!! It’s a simple rubber gasket apparently sandwiched between the door and it’s frustrating that I can’t find it OR get an answer from Whirlpool online Or someone on the telephone.
If I had a choice I would make it a law that appliances have to be made so they can be cleaned. The cooling fins on the bottom of the WP fridge is a Nightmare—Why aren’t the fins turned so you can get a brush through them??!! And front load washers have no tools to clean the gaskets—I have to be just short of a dental hygienist and contortionist just to clean these appliances! They can be designed better in all makes!!
I love my dishwasher, but that lower door gasket is disgusting and impossible to get the gunk out. We will try and repair the gasket with silicone and hope it works.
