We really enjoy this TV and have had fun with all the features. The research and the reviews had us worried in the beginning, but the price was in our range. So we tried it and are glad we did. Would buy again.Thanks LG, you have my confidence.

Excellent TV for the money

I have had the TV for over a month now and I can say I really love it. The features can't be beat. The 'SmartTV' function works perfectly and very easy to set up with my router. The 3D is awesome to say the least. I got a 3D Blu-Ray player and purchased some 3D movies and really enjoyed them. To me the 3D was exactly like in the movie theater showing 'Real3D' movies, except the screen was obviously not as large. For the home this is perfect.
Out of the box the settings were generally good, the only thing I adjusted was the brightness from 'vivid' down to 'standard' and set the back lighting to low. This works good for me. I don't like a very bright picture and mostly watch it in the evenings in a fairly low lighted room.
It amazes me what you get for the money nowadays compared to just 5 years ago. This TV was half the cost of my old Sony Bravia 46" TV and even though the old Sony is still an excellent TV (now moved to another room), this LG offers a LOT more features, is a lot larger than the old TV and is 3D. Even the 2D to 3D conversion adds interest and depth to regular content, although not anything like a real 3D source.
I would recommend this TV to anyone who is looking for a better picture in a larger format and wants the 3D experience. I most of all like the 'passive3D'. The glasses are very light and very comfortable and even watching 3D for many hours, your eyes do not get that 'tired' feeling, I hear about this from friends who have 'active3D' TV's. Another plus is the glasses do not require batteries, which is a big plus in my book.
I don't know how anyone could not like this TV once they get it set-up and start watching it. ENJOY !!

This TV has more features than I can possibly use. Owned it for over 2 months and still discovering new things I can do with it. Great TV, excellent picture, and awesome sound!

I love my new tv, but the menu options sometimes load slowly. Additionally, the internet connect seems to be a little slow, despite all other devices working normally.

Easy to use and great picture

The remote is intuitive. Connections with devises are quick and it has a very smooth setup. The picture is great with easy adjustments but defaults look good as is. So far I have found nothing about this set I do not like.
