[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am Italian and I have some thick facial hair. I have to say that this is my first time using a shave like this and I am kind of impressed. Not to much tho. I had to go over my facial hair a few times before it removed anything. I still feel a bit of stubble where I shaved on my face. I did try it dry. But I am sure that its like when its wet. I have no issues with my 5 blade razor that I use. So yeah only three stars in my book.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off thank you Braun for this awesome opportunity to try out this shaver free!!! Let's get down to the shaver my first impression was this a simple straight forward machine that requires lil maintenance not a whole lot of gadgets just the shaver the charging cord and a lil brush to clean the internal parts when needed. Also this is a wet/dry shaver that's a plus not too heavy or bulky just the rite size easy on the eyes. For its first test run I gave myself a good 5 days with no shave to really put it to the test I used lite shaving cream and I began it took a good amount of passes to actually get a pretty descent shave. Down side was it didn't really get all the hair it took more than a couple passes to get most of it and would of been nice to get a cheap bag to store it in but all in all not bad. I did a dry shave to touch up a razor shave it performed well for a quick touch up not a bad machine but didnt really cut down on the shave time so if you're looking for a good touch up machine with an edger this is it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A closer, faster, more comfortable shave? For Sure. This shaver works for me. After using it, I will not use an old-fashioned razor. I get a better, easier, quicker shave from this Braun Series than my very old smaller single-headed shaver. This is something that I will take when I go traveling or camping. All in all, it's very good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i love this product but just cant get rid of the stubble. Wish would have come with blade oil and carrying case. Considering i use this while the beard is gone its ok. I still like my 5 blade razor. Braun you are on the right track. Just have to find a way to get rid of the hair it wont take off. Well built and feels good in my hands. I like the quick charge. I love the convenience of using shaving cream or not. Also that you can get it wet. Overall if you dont have much facial hair i recommend this product but if have a beard then i suggest using the trimmer on here and then using your razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i got this electric razor from bzzagent to try out and test to see if i like it and give a review. I have to say it was quite literally the best electric razor I've ever used. The box it came in was great looking and very eye catching. I read everything on the outside of the box and knew exactly what i had gotten, no nonsense or advertisement for any other equipment and told me everything i needed to know about what i had gotten. When i opened the box i expected to see the same on the inside but it was quite bland. but was set up very easy to get out and use right away. The razor itself was in a opened bag so i didn't have to try and pry it out and hope it doesn't get broken, the cord was wrapped in a tightly bound plastic which was really hard to get out and had to use scissors hoping i didn't mess up and cut the cord. The razors brush was floating around in the bottom of the box, not sure if was supposed to be in any plastic or bags but beware because it could fall out and be lost. The razor itself was really nice looking and had wonderful grips on the side and was made to fit in your hand no matter how you hold it. It has a plastic cover on it that covers everything and not just the top which i really like so it wont just fall off when you set down. On the backside it has a small trimmer for your sideburns or just to touch up on your side beard, it adjusts to side up higher than the rest of the trimmer so you can see exactly where you are trimming and not just hope you dont mess up. It is kinda loud but no louder than any other trimmer I've ever had, so no biggie there. The charging on it was better than the box said, i charged it for one hour and it i didnt have to plug it back up for at least 2 weeks. I will definetly keep this electric razor and pass on the wonderfulness about it to everyone and may even buy some for christmas presents this year. I also will not be buying any more disposable razors, hiding this one from my wife and son, and buy an extra one for when i have to leave on drill for the army.

Kind of dissapointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to get this product free from Braun. First I used it wet in the shower and was actually pretty disappointed in its performance. It didn't shave well at all. So, I tried it dry. While it did work better than when it was wet, it still didn't seem to do a very good job. I was trying to shave my neck and I used the long hair trimmed first which, actually did work quite well. Once that was trimmed up I began with the foil razor. It did nothing. After many times of going over it and about choking myself pushing hard on my Adams apple, it still looked the same as before I started. My wife, however, loves it for her legs! I guess it just isn't too good for thick hair.

Sad disappointment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to have received this shaver from Braun. I am a busy individual who is always looking to save time in the morning. I also have very sensative skin. Braun is a brand with a strong reputation for innovative products and my expectations were sadly not met with this product. The shaver does not provide a close consistent shave. It does not cut the hair consistently, forcing me to go over the same spot several times which causes major irritation. I have a 10+ year old Norelco Cool Skin electric shaver in which the blades have never been changed, that produces a closer shave. I ended up cleaning up my face with my old shaver because there were so many stray hairs remaining. The shaver left my face blotchy and red with random patches of hair.

Best updated versatile razor to date

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from Braun to review. Right from opening up the package, I liked the way the razor looked. I'm a fan of lighter, bolder colors, so this turquoise razor was very nice. I'm an "on-the-go" person, so being able to shave at the sink, dry or even in the shower was very versatile. I've used braun products before and was currently using a 4 year old razor and was replacing the heads and shaving coils each year. I noticed I had to go over and over trouble spots, especially my neck to shave. The 3040 series definitely is cutting back on how many times I needed to go over the same area. I've only used this for a few days, and will update if I notice any changes. Very good product.
