Decent for a asian dude

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a asian dude which means unfortunately I'm not able to grow a full beard. This shaver is perfect for my slight mustache and laziness. I like to keep my face smooth and hairless so a quick shave with this Braun is all I need. I don't have to worry about shaving cream or gel. It gives me a nice clean shave without the "5 o'clock shadow". It's a decent buy for the price.

Great Shaver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Braun Series 3 for three weeks and it is a great shaver. It provides a nice close shave when the hair is not too long. I use it twice a week and it provides the perfect shave. I really like how you can use shaving cream with it. I started out using it with no shaving cream and there was some tugging, which I did not like. I decided to use shaving cream and the shave was more comfortable with no tugging. I get a closer shave with shaving cream and the razor glides over the skin, so there is no irritation. This razor is water proof, so it can be used in the shower if one desired. I have not used it in the shower, but I like that it is option. The razor seems to be very well made, with a nice weight to it. The battery is great, I get two shaves on every charge. I really like how it has an LCD display, so I no longer have to worry about the battery dying mid shave. This has become my go to shaver and I recommend it to anyone looking for a new shaver.

Each Shave Just Gets Better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel like I might have been a little quick to judge this razor. Overall, each shave I have had has gotten better and better, and I feel like some of my early issues may have been/definitely were operator errors. The shave I get with the Braun Series 3-3040 Razor is incredibly smooth, and I love how quick and easy the razor is to use. The fact that I can also use it in the shower if needed has really cut down on my time getting ready in the morning. This is a great product, and I love that I was able to get to try it for free from Braun.

Highly satisfied with the shavers appearance and performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Braun Series 3 3040 Wet and Dry Shaver is an excellent shaver and I highly recommend it to others. I don't tend to grow my facial out very long and this shaver is a very quick fix. Shaving was getting kind of tedious, but since I got the Braun Series 3 3040 Wet and Dry Shaver free from Bruan it's way easier.
A few things I like about this shaver is that it doesn't pull on my facial hair like some other razors. It shouldn't hurt to shave, and with this it doesn't. Also, it's very fast. My time is valuable and I don't want to spend a lot of time everyday just to have a clean shaven face.
In regards to the product itself, it's a perfect size and fits comfortably in my hand. It has a very vibrant blue grip and looks pretty sleek. The razors look as if they are high quality, although I am unsure what the actual specifics of them are. Overall, it's a clean and solid looking device. It has a pretty simplistic design and I appreciate that.

The handle fits snug in your hand either in the shower where I did not have a problem gripping it wet. The motor is powerful and the battery is long lasting.This was my 1st time ever using an electric shaver.So being inexperienced it took me about 20 min in the shower, using shaving cream to shave my 3 day old beard. It takes a lot longer than using a regular razor. I don't mind the extra time shaving because I really enjoy using this Braun Series 3-3040. The shaver is lightweight and comfortable in your hand. When hitting my chin and nose area, the shaver responded with ease and not one hair was pulled thanks to their Triple Action FreeFloat System.The model was designed for use in the shower, so as expected, it excels when used for wet shaving. Guys who shave daily will have no trouble maintaining smooth skin with this razor. Those who shave a day here and there can also get good results with the razor, but one should expect a lengthier process.My 3 day beard to multiple passed across the thicker parts of my beard. All in all this works pretty good and I have put down my disposable razor for good for this shaver. As time goes by and my experience and speed will pick up , I'm sure I will get my shaves down to under 5 minutes. Thank You Braun for the FREE Shaver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I learned that I was invited to join this Bzz Campaign, I was excited; shaving is one of those necessary activities I dread, so I was really hoping this product would help curb my shaving frustration. Unfortunately, that was not the case at all.
The product description stated that this razor was better at providing a close shave at the outset, thereby reducing friction, which would prove beneficial to people with sensitive skin. The first time I used this razor, I quickly learned that it was not going to be the product for me.
While this razor did in fact do a great job at providing a smooth shave for maybe 25% of my face, the other 75% proved difficult and painful in an attempt to get the same smoothness. The most difficult area was my under-chin and neck area.
Once I was done (i.e., once I had finally given up), I still had areas on my face where hair remained and my entire neck area was red and irritated -- that was the case even with shaving gel I had used.
In all fairness, my facial hair is pretty thick and seems to grow in very odd directions, so even using a regular bladed razor causes consternation when trying to get a nice, clean shave. Taking those facts into consideration, I can't really blame this new razor for my experience; however, I DO wish I could find an electric razor that actually works on my face.
In conclusion, while this razor didn't work for me, I would still recommend it to anyone whose facial hair is thinner / lighter and grows in a "normal" direction. Based on the 25% of my face where this razor worked, it did a great job and provided the type of shave that the manufacturer described.

Works great with shave gel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shaver can be used dry or wet, even in the shower. I prefer to lather my face just as if using a razor.
The shaver gets a very nice close shave and leaves me with no irritation, it even gets closer than my razor does.
Cleaning is very easy and it has a very high quality feel to it. This shaver works perfect for me and I highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first electric shave I've ever owned. In the past, I've only used disposable razors, and a few other name brand razors. I was certainly pleased with this Braun shaver. It provides a nice shave, and the attached trimmer works excellent as well. In all, it works perfectly for both shaving and trimming to keep your style as you'd like it. I highly recommend this product.
