In use only one day without problems. I need to find a small rack to place in the freezer but was expecting this short fall. I have two other GE refrigerators and all are still performing without service (oldest from the 1940's).

Not as good as other GE models

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this product from my local GE dealer after my 19 yr. old GE refrig had trouble. The positives include reversible hinges, easy open doors without handles that stick out, it cools well, and was for an affordable price. The negatives include cheaply made drawers that are not see-through. These drawers bobble when they have a lot of veggies and are difficult to close. There is no meat tray/snack drawer, and the racks are not split level. I had all of these features in my older model GE, and will miss them. I would not recommend purchasing this product as there are better GE models out there.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this model for my elderly mother, who downsized from our old huge GE family size one we had for years. It was easily installed, including having the doors reversed. It's basically a no frills model, but completely meets our expectations.

Great buy & great features

I bought this refrigerator for my office. First of all because it had such wonderful reviews, secondly because it had the features I was looking for. Some of the features are extra space and shelving in the freezer, ice maker, adjustable shelves with spill proof tempered glass and the extra storage on the door. For a refrigerator that is less then 20 cubic feet, it has been well designed to accommodate just about all your refrigerator needs. Great job GE!

So far, so good

Have had the refrig for about 2 months, and so far, so good. It seems to hold the temperature just fine and keeps food at the desired temperature. There are two things about it I really dislike: the shelves in the refrigerator ... they need to be glass in order to keep stuff from falling over. And the shelf in the freezer is horrible. Why couldn't they have put a shelf going all the way across. I do like the wider shelves on the door so as to get to most used stuff more easily, tho. Overall, I don't like this refrigerator as well as I liked my 30 year old one; I guess times change.
