This tv has a great picture and wonderful sound. As far as smart tvs go, this one is slow. Takes awhile to pull up apps, sometimes up to 10 mins. Updates about once a week but updates never make anything go faster. The stand is pretty wobbly.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was talked into this tv by an ex-boyfriend. After I got it home and really began using it.. I LOVE IT!! I don't know how I went this long without one!! You can watch You Tube, check your facebook, stream movies, the picture is beautiful!! The sound is superb!! No matter what angle I am in my living room, if it's cloudy or pure full on sun.. the picture is always the same!!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

Easy Set Up

It was a pleasure to set this tv up. The color was wonderful. Better then most. Since then I have stayed with all Samsung products the phone and tablet are great.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight

Great picture Easy setup.

The first thing that stood out to me was the picture. When standing next to other TV's you could see the quality in the picture. The colors were so vivid. I was sold.
Setup was so easy. Evan I could do it. [ I did not need my son for help ]

video cam for skype

The video cam SAMSUNG recommends to use for Skype is discontinued and the one that replaced it does not work on tv model UN50EH5300 and to buy one that is for it from someplace that does have one is big $$$$. I have my laptop with a video cam set up to work on it , I would recommend searching for a different model tv if you want to Skype and check on video cams available to use with it. Happy with tv other than the Skype problem.

We had problems with the apps in Myhub being able to connect to the internet even though the TV was connected to the WiFi with full signal, but after many tries to update the software and the TV displaying a notice saying that all software was up to date, we broke down and called Samsung for support. Customer service was very helpful and used a feature on the TV to take control of it via internet and was able to upload the firmware updates. I have been using the TV for the past two months without a single problem.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: cannot change or delete all apps.
I would recommend this to a friend!
