I can confidently say the Simplehuman 35L Dual Compartment Under Counter Garbage Can is one of the best home upgrades I’ve made. If you're tired of messy trash areas, ugly bins, or awkward recycling setups, this is the sleek, efficient solution you didn’t know you needed.
Design: The craftsmanship is outstanding. The clean lines and stainless steel finish make it feel like part of a high-end kitchen—not just a trash can. It fits seamlessly under the counter, giving the space a clutter-free, modern look. The soft-close lid is completely silent and surprisingly satisfying.
Functionality: The dual compartments are perfectly sized—one side for trash, the other for recycling. The internal buckets are easy to remove and clean, and they slide in and out smoothly. I especially love that each side fits standard liners (or Simplehuman’s custom ones if you prefer a snug, perfect fit).

Great product, small cans

These cans are unfortunately too small to tackle kitchen trash and recycling. The pull-out mechanism is solid and terrific - I just wish I could get something with a single can close to standard kitchen trash size.
