Excelllent print Quality Plus

I have had this printer for 18 months now and have kept detailed ink usage records. 13" x19" prints Green 120+,
Red 200+, PM 30+, BK 50+, PC 30+, Cyan 36+, Mag 30+, Y 30+. Ink usage is excellent. Also I only use it once or twice a month and have never had to run a cleaning cycle. Print quality is also excellent.I have never had a paper jam. Highly recommend as a photo quality printer.

What can I say-- Great Printer

Wow! I love this printer. I have been useing this new printer for about a month. It is everything I could want. Bright,correct colors, Fast and dependable.
I'm a retired professional photographer, Lately I have been working on 100+ yr. old photos. I scan them, fix if needed then print on my Cannon 9000 pro. The colors and quality are great.

Delight to work with this printer

Great performance and color saturation. Great slim profile so that it's not too bulky. Consistent without ever needing a head cleaning, even after not using for a week.

Great product shame about cost

This is a great printer for the photo enthusiast (non prof) as I am. One problem is on-going and its the cost of ink and paper. I really have to think before I print.

OK!! I am beside myself with the excellent quality and speed of this printer! I have owned MANY printers and have never had one that turned out results as this one does. I am very happy with my purchase and wish I had done it a long time ago!

Superb Printer

I have been using this printer for more than a year. The output quality is, frankly, stunning compared to any other printer in its class. As a professional graphic designer and photographer, I rely on the Pro9000 not only for its immaculate photographic printing, but for proofing layouts and designs. It has proven utterly reliable, and it's amazingly fast.
For anyone working with Photoshop or the Canon Digital Photo Pro software, the Easy Photo Print Pro plug-in makes for ultra-fast and reliable "what you see IS what you get." This is a tremendous help when you've just finished a shoot and the client (or the family!) wants prints NOW and you don't have time to tweak.
Canon's technical support is also second to none. No matter whether it's been a printer question, a camera question or a scanner question I get someone who is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to help, which is too rare these days.
This is a thoroughly professional tool at an enthusiast price. I can't give higher praise than that.

Excellent Photo Printer

I have very few cons with this printer. From the minute I set it up, it has been producing excellent repros. I can barely afford to feed it's insatiable appetite for ink, however. I believe Canon can reduce the cost of cartridges so that we might be able to use it more. They might even make more money with the increased volume of photos. How about it Canon?

Pro 9000 Inkjet printer

This printer has produced extremely high quality output from my Raw and JPG files, consistently and as needed. In using it with my Mac system, I found no problems in set up or output to the printer.
My two biggest issues are the small quantity ink cartridges, ultimately driving up the average cost/print, unless I stick with small size prints, less than satisfying for a photographer who prefers medium to large output. All cartridge colors are not easily available in local stores that carry Canon products.
If this system offered larger quantity cartridges at more reasonable prices, this would truly be my ultimate printer.

Cons: High Running Cost, hard to find all color ink cartridges
